What we need before we can begin drawing:

Exterior Remodeling

bullet At least 12 pictures showing all sides and corners of the house
bullet Placement and size of windows and doors near the remodeled area
bullet Measure the windows between the casings
bullet Measure the width of the door panel only
 
bullet Interior wall locations from drywall to drywall in the remodeled area
bullet Exterior foundation walls around remodeled area
bullet Site map showing the house/garage foot print
bullet Side yard sizes (Call the township)
bullet Gas pipe, electrical wiring, septic and well locations if in the area
 
bullet

Interior Remodeling

bullet Measure all walls relating to the remodeled area
bullet Measure all openings relating to the remodeled area
bullet Measure the stairs location
bullet Indicate bath and kitchen plumbing locations
bullet Direction of the joist (contact a contractor if necessary)
bullet Location of beam and/or support walls (contact a contractor if necessary)
bullet Any pictures you think would be helpful
 

Fees and Scheduling:

bullet Free Estimate up to two hours of consultation.
bullet Remodeling work is provided on an hourly basis at $75.00 per hour for consultation, design and drawing time.
bullet Call our office, (616) 494-6083, for an estimated fee for the desired modifications. Please Note: Additional fees of $75.00 per hour for phone or office consultation will be applied toward the final fees.
bullet Standard preliminary drawing time is one to two weeks.
bullet 50% of the estimated remodeling fee is required before starting the drawings, and the remaining fees are to be paid prior to shipping, or picked up at our office.
bullet Because the nature of remodeling takes on many forms,  we are not able to quote you a solid cost. Typically our costs run from $400 - $2200.00 depending on how large the project is. The plans for the second floor addition for the house above cost around $1600.00.
